Seventy-five years of spreading Vedantic wisdom and service around the world.
That milestone is being celebrated by the Chinmaya Mission, an international spiritual organisation with a global presence.
The Trinidad and Tobago local arm of the Chinmaya Mission joined in the global celebrations.
Terry-Ann Browne-Campbell reports.
“One Movement. Beyond Boundaries. Eternally Inspiring.”
That is the theme as the Chinmaya Mission celebrates 75 years of its existence.
Founder of the Trinidad and Tobago arm of the Mission, Swami Prakashananda, said the local entity chose to observe the anniversary with a celebration unique to this country.
He also explained the significance behind the choice of observance.
He noted that the teachings symbolised by Hanuman carry a message that extends beyond the Hindu community.
Over the past 75 years, the Chinmaya Mission has evolved from a spiritual movement into a worldwide organisation, promoting knowledge, education, and service to humanity.
