CIP Minister Defends CIP Programme Amid UK Immigration Concerns(MARCH 11TH, 2026)
The Citizenship by Investment Program (CIP) Minister, Hon. Ernest Hilaire, firmly defended the program amid rumours that it prompted the UK Government’s tightening of visa requirements for Saint Lucian nationals.
He emphasized that, despite the speculation, no concrete evidence has been presented to support the claim that the CIP is the cause of the visa policy changes.
