Coastal Cleanup Sparks Renewed Calls For Stronger Waste Laws
Volunteers turned out at the Foreshore in Port of Spain for International Coastal Cleanup Day — joining millions worldwide in protecting the planet’s shorelines. But beyond the garbage bags and gloves, government officials and environmental leaders are calling for tougher policies and more personal responsibility to keep Trinidad and Tobago clean.
