SOUND BAR [2ND MARCH 2026] – Police are warning motorists that blasting music at excessive volumes without a permit remains a violation of noise control laws, as enforcement across the island is set to intensify. Superintendent Troy Lamontagne says officers will take firm action—including the seizure of sound equipment where necessary—as authorities urge drivers to enjoy their music responsibly and help restore peace in residential communities.
