Consumer Rights Day (PSA)
The Consumer Affairs Department (CAD) is proud to announce the local
observance of World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD) on Friday, March 13, 2026. This year, the
department will host a grand symposium and exhibition at the Derek Walcott Square in Castries, from 10 a.m. under the global theme: « Safe Products, Confident Consumers. »
This year, the focus is on product safety, ensuring that every item sold in Saint Lucia meets safety standards to foster a climate of consumer trust and national economic stability.
The symposium is designed as an interactive experience for the entire family. Members of the public are invited for a day of learning, interaction and community engagement.
