Contractor Raises Red Flags Over Costly Pole Relocation(FEBRUARY 2ND, 2026)
Construction & Industrial Equipment Limited (CIE) has raised concerns over the high cost quoted by the St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) for the relocation of electricity poles along the Norbert Road expansion project.
LUCELEC has indicated that work should be planned and paid for by the project lead, while safety measures remain in place as drivers continue to raise concerns.
