CROSSWALK SAFETY FOR PEDESTRIANS AND DRIVERS
With the new school term set to begin on Monday, “Marked Road Safe,” a public service campaign, re-emphasises the importance of road safety, particularly in school zones. Drivers are being urged to exercise extreme caution and adhere to the 30km/h speed limit to protect young pedestrians.
Motor Vehicle Supervisor I, Huan Castellano, provided guidance on the correct and incorrect use of crosswalks for both drivers and pedestrians.
Castellano also provided more information on proper crosswalk usage.
