Cyclist Makaira Wallace Wins TTOC Junior Sportswoman Of The Year And People’s Choice Awards
After capturing the Junior Sportswoman and People’s Choice awards at the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee Annual Award Ceremony, an elated Makaira Wallace said that winning both honours has given her confidence that her career is heading in the right direction.
Wallace recently climbed to 23rd in the UCI Women’s Sprint Rankings during a year that also marked her transition from junior to senior cycling competition.
