DIGITAL IMMIGRATION KIOSK AT BOTH AIRPORTS PASSES TEST PHASE

QUICK KIOSK [2ND SEPTEMBER 2025] – First impressions matter in tourism, and being met with long lines at immigration is not the warmest welcome a brand-name destination like Saint Lucia can afford. But that could all be a thing of the past as the test phase of digital immigration kiosks is going off without a hitch. That’s according to officials of the St Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority. SLASPA began the test phase of digital immigration kiosks last week and by last Friday, hundreds of arriving travelers from the US, the UK, Canada and CARICOM had safely and securely skipped the immigration line, increasing operational efficiency at both Saint Lucian airports. We welcome our new reporter Shyne Savory to the news team, fresh off her win at regional spoken word poetry slam at Carifesta in Barbados.
