EBC Preliminary Results: TPP Sweeps Tobago House of Assembly Elections
The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is reporting a voter turnout of approximately 50.69% in the Tobago House of Assembly Elections held on Monday, January 12th, 2026.
The total registered electorate across 15 Electoral Districts in Tobago is 53,239 voters.
According to preliminary results from the EBC, the Tobago People’s Party received 16,240 votes, the People’s National Movement, 10,456 votes, the Innovative Democratic Alliance, 181 votes, and the Unity of the People, eight votes.
The EBC says based on the preliminary results, the TPP won all 15 districts.
The PNM has formally requested recounts in the electoral districts of Darrel Spring/Whim and Scarborough/Mt. Grace.
