EDUCATION MINISTRY DISTRIBUTES GRANTS
The Ministry of Education has confirmed that disbursements for the School Supplies and Book Grant are currently being rolled out on a phased basis to ensure that all eligible students benefit in a timely manner. To date, a total of five thousand, two hundred and forty-eight (5,248) payments have already been processed and issued to families across the country. The Ministry further assured that the remaining 14,752 payments are on track to be completed no later than September 5th, 2025. Officials emphasized that the phased approach was necessary to guarantee accuracy, transparency, and accountability in the distribution process, while also accommodating the large volume of applications received this year. The School Supplies and Book Grant continues to play a vital role in assisting parents and guardians with the costs associated with their children’s education, particularly at the start of the new academic year. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to supporting students and ensuring equitable access to essential learning resources.
