Environment Minister: “What We Saw Was Appalling”
The Ministry of Environment launched the Nassau Village Beautification & Clean-Up Initiative today. A team cleaned up a lot near Matthew Street that was being used for illegal dumping. Environment and Natural Resources Minister Zane Lightbourne attended the start of this morning’s clean-up. Lightbourne said it will take days to complete due to the amount of waste dumped in the area.
