FIFA Boosts World Cup Prize Money(DECEMBER 18TH, 2025)
FIFA has announced a major increase in prize money for the 2026 World Cup, with winners earning $50 million and every participating team guaranteed at least $10.5 million, as 48 teams compete across the US, Canada and Mexico.
Although Saint Lucia did not qualify, recent regional victories and ongoing improvements in local football have boosted hopes that stronger investment and development could lead to a World Cup appearance in 2030.
