Fireworks – Quiet Or Low Noise: A Better Option?
Elspeth Duncan, animal rescuer and representative of Venus DoggES of Love NGO, along with Roger Marshall, founder of Animals 360 Foundation and coordinator of the Fireworks Action Coalition of T&T, are advocating for the adoption of quiet or low-noise fireworks. Citing the harmful effects of traditional fireworks on animals, vulnerable individuals, and the environment, the advocates emphasise the need to balance cultural celebration with public safety, animal welfare, and environmental responsibility.
