Government Pushes Major Investment in Early Childhood and Special Education(MARCH 12TH, 2026)
Minister within the Ministry of Education for Special Education and Early Childhood Development, Hon. Danny Butcher, stated that borrowing $17 million for early childhood development is justified due to the rising number of students with special needs in Saint Lucia.
The funding will enhance services, improve educator training, and create new facilities to better support these students.
