Minister of Works and Infrastructure Jearlean John pledged the government’s continued, intensified action on national security.
At the UNC Congress hosted at the Couva South carpark on Saturday, Minister John criticised the previous administration’s approach to crime, accusing them of normalising violence and failing to take decisive action.
Minister John said the current Government is taking a firmer stance against the country’s crime scourge and will continue working to ensure a safer Trinidad and Tobago.
She encouraged supporters to not lose hope, trusting that Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar and her government will continue fighting on their behalf.
