Health Minister Responds to Health Union Presidents Saying This is Worse State of PMH in Decades
Health Minister Dr. Michael Darville says the country’s healthcare system has been under strain for decades, noting that Princess Margaret Hospital outgrew its capacity as far back as 1999.
His comments come in response to concerns raised about conditions at PMH, with Darville pointing to overcrowding and system “shocks” as signs the infrastructure is overwhelmed.
