Head girl of Sadie Curtis Primary School, Bethany Barr, says she was inspired to spread holiday cheer by gifting cards to children on the hospital’s children’s ward, reminding them that they are loved and cared for despite their circumstances. Barr says she banded together with her classmates to make the initiative possible, adding scriptures, jokes and heartfelt messages into each card to bring comfort, smiles and encouragement to the young patients during the holiday season.
