Hon Stephenson King recalled that Allen Chastanet initially offered him the Infrastructure Ministry, citing a lack of public trust in Guy Joseph, who also wanted the role. However, after internal reshuffling and external pressure to consolidate energy matters, King was ultimately given responsibility for the energy portfolio.
