Hurricane Alert Issued For Central & Southeast Bahamas
A hurricane alert has been issued for residents in the central & southeast Bahamas Sunday evening (Oct. 26) according to Chief Meteorologist Geoffrey Greene during a press briefing at the Disaster Risk Management Authority HQ. Islands affected include: Exuma & Cays, Long Island, San Salvador, Cat Island, Acklins, Crooked Island, Long Cay, Mayaguana and Inagua. Residents can expect hurricane conditions within 60 hours.
