As Hurricane Melissa bears down on Jamaica, Saint Lucia’s Minister for Education, Shawn Edward, has expressed deep concern for twenty two Saint Lucian students studying there. The storm, which strengthened into a Category 5 early Monday, is forecast to bring destructive winds, catastrophic flooding, and landslides to the island.
