Independence Baton Relay Sets Off on Islandwide Journey(JANUARY 28TH, 2026)
The 2026 National Independence Baton Relay commenced in Castries East on Wednesday, January 28, with Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre leading the festivities.
The relay will travel through all 17 constituencies before Saint Lucia’s 47th Independence Anniversary.
The event aims to unite communities in a lively celebration that concludes on February 17th in Castries Central.
