India In Full Control On Day 2 As West Indies Bowlers Struggle
India tightened their grip on the second Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium, finishing Day 2 on a commanding 448 for 5 — a lead of 286 runs — after centuries from K. L. Rahul, Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja left the West Indies chasing leather for most of the day.
West Indies bowling coach Ravi Rampaul described Day 2 as “a very tough day” on a surface heavily favouring the bat.
