Insurance Companies Monitor Road Activity Amid Rising Accidents(JANUARY 28TH, 2028)
The National Insurance Council (NIC) confirmed that, while no formal decision has been taken to raise motor vehicle insurance premiums, insurers are closely tracking road traffic trends after a spate of accidents over the past few weeks. NIC Public Relations Officer Adele Jn Baptiste explained that premium adjustments could vary according to an insurer’s size, financial strength and exposure to the recent surge in claims.
