JLP Wins Jamaica Election

Jamaica’s Prime Minister Elect, Andrew Holness will lead his country for a third consecutive term, as the Jamaican Labour Party (JLP) secured victory at the country’s 2025 General Election.
The JLP secured 34 seats while The People’s National Party (PNP), led by Mark Golding, managed to obtain 29 of the 63 seats in Parliament, reclaiming its position as opposition.
Over 2 million registered voters were eligible to cast their votes, however, the Electoral Office of Jamaica confirmed a 39.5% voter turnout.
