Leah Bertrand Expresses Gratitude After Winning Sportswoman Of The Year Awards
Trinidad and Tobago sprinter Leah Bertrand says winning the 2025 TTOC and NAAA’s TT Sportswoman of the Year awards means a great deal to her.
The sprinter expressed gratitude to God, her coaches, family and supporters, adding that the award further motivates her to continue pushing and representing Trinidad and Tobago in the best way possible.
« Every time I get to represent Trinidad and Tobago it is such an honour. So to be recognised for this, it really feels so special. I am so grateful to God, to my coaches, my family and to everybody who continues to support me. Winning this award, it only further motivates me to continue pushing and representing Trinidad and Tobago in the best way possible. »
