Legal Affairs Minister Warns Criminals As New Security Bill Heads To Parliament
Minister of Land and Legal Affairs and Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Saddam Hosein, says the government is taking decisive measures to stop lawlessness and put criminals behind bars.
He confirmed that the government is set to introduce The Law Reform, Zones of Special Operations, Special Security and Community Development Measures Bill, 2026, in Parliament on Friday.
« So this is a copy of the Bill in hand, and this Bill is a very progressive piece of legislation. It is a piece of legislation that will assist us in fighting the criminals, and I dare say that those who may be against us they may have questions to answer. »
Minister Hosein was speaking at a United National Congress Press Briefing on Wednesday.
