Maduro Accuses U.S. of Aggression, Calls for Regional Unity.(September 16th 2025)
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has accused the U.S. of using false drug trafficking claims and military pressure to pursue regime change and seize Venezuela’s natural resources, while breaking off diplomatic ties over escalating threats. In response, he’s called on Latin American and Caribbean leaders to convene an urgent regional summit to defend sovereignty and uphold the region as a zone of peace.
