MEGAN MORRISON'S ANNUAL BOOK DRIVE
On Sunday, Area Representative for the Mt. St. George/Goodwood district, Megan Morrison, continued her annual tradition of giving back to the community by hosting her Back-to-School Book Drive.
The initiative, now a highly anticipated event, brought together families, students, and well-wishers as children received school supplies, textbooks, and other essentials to prepare them for the new academic year.
She stressed the importance of ensuring that every child starts school with the right tools, noting that such support can inspire confidence and improve academic performance.
Morrison also used the opportunity to thank sponsors, volunteers, and community members who contributed to the initiative’s success. She said an investment in young people is an investment in the future of her district.
