MEN’S SUMMIT EMPOWERS YOUTH WITH FINANCIAL AND LIFE SKILLS
Men from across the island gathered at the Impact Ministries Centre in Bexon for the Freedom in Finance Summit on December 10th—an event designed to equip young men with financial knowledge and personal development tools to help steer them away from crime and violence. The free, community-focused summit was spearheaded by Kevin Mathurin, founder of Ideas for Boys and Men, who believes such initiatives are critical to tackling what he describes as a growing male crisis in Saint Lucia. Representatives from the Saint Lucia Social Development Fund, the Youth Economy Agency, UTC Global Balanced Fund Limited, and several partner agencies were also present.
