In the wake of Saint Lucia’s December 1st general elections, a government minister has moved to quell persistent claims of voter fraud, forcefully dismissing an international consultant’s allegations as impossible due to the nation’s paper-based system. Castries South MP Dr. Ernest Hilaire rejected a claim of « electronic fraud » made by Miami-based consultant Kenneth Rijock, stating the island does not use electronic voting and urging the media to combat misinformation.
