Minister Padarath: Meteorological Failings A Legacy Of PNM Neglect
Minister of Public Utilities, Barry Padarath, says his Ministry is working tirelessly to repair years of neglect within the T&T Meteorological Services.
In a media release, the Minister explained that the system is in urgent need of repair, with outdated equipment, staff shortages, and a lack of focus on critical maintenance.
He says a dedicated team, led by Parliamentary Secretary Shivanna Sam, is tackling the challenges head-on.
Minister Padarath assured that despite ongoing repairs, there are no disruptions to essential meteorological services.
