NEW FLU [17TH DECEMBER 2025] – The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs is calling on the public to remain vigilant as influenza cases continue to rise both globally and locally, driven primarily by the Influenza A (H3N2) virus. With the current flu season underway, from October to March, health authorities are emphasizing the importance of preventive measures, including vaccination, proper respiratory hygiene, and the use of face masks, to reduce the risk of transmission, protect vulnerable populations, and prevent hospitalizations.
