A fresh effort to revive Saint Lucia’s baking industry is now underway — with a new apprenticeship programme aimed at training young talent, creating jobs, and strengthening food security on the island.
The Saint Lucia Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, SLCTVET, in collaboration with the Saint Lucia Bakers Association and the Ministry of Commerce, officially launched the Careers in the Baking Industry Apprenticeship Programme on Tuesday.
