New Income Tax Relief for Pensioners and Senior Citizens(JANUARY 12TH, 2026)
The Inland Revenue Department has announced a new Income Tax Exemption effective January 1, 2025, aimed at easing the tax burden on pensioners and qualifying senior citizens through exemptions on pension income and limited earned income.
Pensioners especially those with other income or prior tax deductions are advised to file their 2025 tax returns by March 31, 2026.
