NEW TRAFFIC CHANGES AT KILYGYWN INTERSECTION
Major traffic changes are scheduled to take effect at the Kilgwyn Intersection starting Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at midday. The upgrades include a new fourth leg via Dr. Winston Murray Boulevard, restrictions on right turns, and new routes through the Dr. Jeffrey Davidson Roundabout. Motorists are advised that there will be no right turns or through traffic across the intersection from Kilgwyn Road North and South, and access to Old Store Bay Local Road will be redirected via the roundabout. Restrictions will also be in effect along Cane Farm Road and Friendship Extension, with new traffic flows designed to ease congestion and enhance safety.
An official opening ceremony for the Kilgwyn Intersection will be held tomorrow, marking the commissioning of the new traffic system.
