PARLIAMENT RULINGS MOTIONS AGAINST PM, AG DISMISSED
In yesterday’s sitting of the House of Representatives, a privilege motion filed by Diego Martin North East MP Colm Imbert against Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar was dismissed. Speaker of the House, Jagdeo Singh, ruled that the motion was “stillborn”. His decision effectively halted the matter before any debate could take place.
