Patriotic Energies Partners with Italian Firm to Restart Guaracara Refinery
Patriotic Energies Services Company Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Italian engineering firm Tecnimont Services SpA, aimed at advancing plans to rehabilitate and restart the Guaracara Refinery at Pointe-a-Pierre.
The company says the collaboration strengthens its proposal to the Government, bringing global technical expertise to support the restoration of the refinery as a critical national asset.
Patriotic Energies adds that the agreement reflects its commitment to high standards of safety, engineering excellence and environmental responsibility.
While public interest remains high, the company notes that details of the financial and technical arrangements are subject to confidentiality agreements.
However, it maintains that the partnership will come at no cost to the Government and requires no state guarantee.
