The Tobago Emergency Medical Service recently celebrated its 26th anniversary, a significant milestone marking over two decades of dedication to emergency medical care for the people of Tobago.
As part of the anniversary events, TEMS recognised Mr Levi Clarke, a pioneering Emergency Medical Technician who was part of the crew that responded to the very first emergency call in 1999. His early commitment and service were crucial in laying the foundation for professional emergency care on the island.
Though Mr. Clarke retired three years ago, his legacy continues to inspire those who serve in TEMS today. The organisation extended its sincere appreciation for his outstanding contributions and lasting impact on Tobago’s emergency medical services.
The anniversary celebration highlighted the importance of dedication, commitment, and service in building a reliable and professional emergency response system for the community.
