PIPELINE GROUNDWORK SET AS WATER SHORTAGE INTENSIFIES—
Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has issued an urgent plea for national water conservation after confirming that a critical, CDB-funded pipeline project will not begin groundwork until January 2027.
This timeline was confirmed during a bilateral meeting with the Caribbean Development bank president at the 50th CARICOM heads of government meeting.
