PM: “All Foods Currently At 5%, Will Be VAT Free, Effective April 1st”
In Prime Minister Philip Davis’ national address Monday night, he announced that all foods currently at 5%, will be VAT free starting April 1st, 2026. “This will apply to fresh fruits and vegetables, baby food, lunch snacks, frozen foods, and other groceries – everything except prepared meals sold hot or ready to eat.”
