PM National Address: We Stand for the Bahamian People
Responding to the tribunal ruling, Prime Minister Philip Davis said the Government took the case to challenge what he described as decades-old concessions under the Hawksbill Creek Agreement.
He noted the ruling confirms that the Grand Bahama Port Authority must make payments through 2054 and affirms the Government’s authority to govern Freeport.
