REPETITION FOR EMPHASIS [27TH JANUARY 2026] – For the second time in just over a week, Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has sounded the alarm on road safety, renewing his appeal to motorists to exercise greater caution and personal responsibility as Saint Lucia continues to grapple with a troubling spate of traffic collisions, some of which have resulted in serious injuries and loss of life. The renewed warning comes amid growing public concern, as accidents persist despite ongoing investments in road infrastructure and repeated calls for safer driving behaviour.
