PM: “Your Electricity Will Not Be Impacted By The Current Crisis”
Prime Minister Philip Davis in a press conference today said that Bahamians will not see an upcoming change in their electricity bills amidst the conflict in Iran thanks to energy reform changes his administration has already made. He also said that he is meeting with the Retailers Association this evening to hear their concerns in an effort to lessen the effect on Bahamians ahead of the VAT reduction on April 1st.
