POLICE INVESTIGATE AFTER UWP MEDIA WORKER LEVELS ASSAULT ALLEGATION AGAINST DEPUTY PM HILAIRE
Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire is facing a police investigation after a formal assault complaint was filed against him by Eldrise Charles, a self-proclaimed media worker. Charles, who is reportedly aligned with the broadcast arm of United Workers Party (UWP) media, claims she was physically assaulted. As part of the investigation, the Royal St. Lucia Police force is reviewing footage provided by the parliament to determine what transpired.
