JUDICIAL SIBLINGS [25TH MARCH 2026] – Saint Lucia is taking steps to address long-standing delays in its justice system with the launch of a dedicated Backlog Reduction Court aimed at fast-tracking more than 1,000 pending cases. While questions have been raised about its necessity alongside the ongoing Halls of Justice Project, officials say the two serve distinct roles within broader judicial reform efforts.
