Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre met with members of the Saint Lucian diaspora in New York on Friday evening, outlining his government’s plans for continued national development and addressing key issues affecting citizens abroad. The town hall, hosted by the Consulate General of Saint Lucia, also featured Minister for External and Diaspora Affairs Alva Baptiste, who updated attendees on ongoing initiatives to support returning nationals and strengthen ties with the diaspora ahead of the December 1st general elections.
