Prime Minister Welcomes $220 Million Hotel Investment in South Trinidad
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar SC has welcomed the TT$220 million Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and Convention Centre project in South Trinidad, describing it as a boost for jobs, growth, and economic opportunity.
The development is expected to generate hundreds of jobs during construction and operation, while strengthening the local economy.
At Wednesday’s Ground Breaking Ceremony, the Prime Minister said the project reflects a shift from announcements to real delivery, with tangible benefits for citizens.
