Republic Bank Extends Deadline for Community Funding Across Eastern Caribbean

(Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia – June 23, 2026) – Republic Bank (EC) Limited (RBEC) is inviting NGOs, changemakers, activists, and community leaders across the Eastern Caribbean to apply for funding through its Power to Make A Difference (PMAD) Programme.

The PMAD Programme, introduced in the Eastern Caribbean in 2022, is Republic Bank’s overarching social investment programme built on the knowledge that the Bank has the power to make a difference by empowering others to learn, help, care and succeed. It is done through collaboration with advocacy groups in the pursuit of building successful and sustainable societies.

Speaking on the latest call for proposals, Republic Bank Marketing Specialist, Mrs. Roneisha Emmanuel, explained that the Bank has extended the application deadline to allow more organisations the opportunity to submit proposals for consideration.

The Programme welcomes initiatives that align with Republic Bank’s commitment to community development and demonstrate the ability to create positive and measurable change.

Mrs. Emmanuel noted that Republic Bank is seeking projects that can demonstrate meaningful impact within the communities they serve.

Projects submitted under the PMAD Programme should align with one or more of Republic Bank’s four pillars: The Power to Care, The Power to Learn, The Power to Help and The Power to Succeed. Eligible applicants include registered non-profit organisations operating within St. Lucia, Dominica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, Anguilla and Sint Maarten.

Addressing the question of eligibility, Mrs. Emmanuel encouraged registered non-profit organisations throughout the region to apply.

Mrs. Emmanuel explained that the Bank views the PMAD Programme as an ongoing relationship with organisations that continue to create positive change within their communities.

Applications for the 2026 Republic Bank Power to Make A Difference Programme will now be accepted until June 30, 2026. Over the past five years, Republic Bank has invested more than EC$6.3 million in community initiatives across its six Eastern Caribbean territories. Of that amount, EC$2 million has been invested in the Power to Make A Difference (PMAD) Programme over the last three years, supporting projects that create meaningful and sustainable impact in communities across the region.
