Residents On Island Are Bracing For Increase in Electricity Bills(APRIL 15TH, 2026)
Electricity bills in Saint Lucia are set to jump this April after LUCELEC raised its fuel surcharge to 25.5 cents per unit, up sharply from just 0.7 cents in March.
The company says the increase is tied to rising global fuel prices.
